St. Nicholas Garrison Cathedral in the Brest Fortress was built in 1855 in the Byzantine style. After the ordeal it was returned to Orthodox believers, now it repeats the author’s idea in detail. The author is the academician of the Russian Academy of Arts D.Grimm. A bronze bell, weighing a ton (one of the largest in Belarus), received as a gift from the Belarusian Railways, was ascended on the bell tower of the temple in 2001.
