The Brest Central Railway Station Museum has collected a lot of exhibits that tell us about the history of Brest Department of the Belarusian Railways. Brest Railway Station was opened on May 28, 1886. Two months later it was visited by Russian Emperor Alexander Ill, his wife Maria Fyodorovna and their son Nicholas. The German heir to the throne Prince William (future Emperor Wilhelm ll), presented his respect having arrived by train from Warsaw.
