St. Simeon Cathedral (Soviet Border Guards Str.) was consecrated in 1865. The icons with the relics of Venerable Sergius of Radonezh and St. Euphrosyne, Fedorov and Kazan icon, written in Kostroma, are stored here. The relics of St. Athanasius of Brest, brought from Lesnyansky convent near Paris, are kept in a special shrine. A bronze monument of St. Athanasius (sculptor Alesya Gurschenkova) was erected not far from the church in 2005.
