The Museum of the Saved Artistic Values, opened in 1989, is located at 39 Lenin Str. in the mansion built in the 1920s (an architectural monument of the beginning of the XXth century, designed by Polish architect Julian Lisiecki). The exhibition has about 300 works of art and antiques, the Brest Customs confiscated them when they were tried to be exported abroad illegally. Ancient icons, valuable paintings and pieces of furniture, weapons and many other things are presented here. The branch office of the regional museum is open from 10 am. to 5.30 pm, the day off is Monday. Tel. +375 162 20 41 95.
