The Brest Fortress Defense Museum

The Brest Fortress Defense Museum was opened on November 22, 1956 in the preserved part of the circular barracks on the central island of the fortress. There are more than 40 thousand exhibits in the funds of one of the most famous military museums in the ClS. Unprecedented heroism of the defenders of the citadel occupied the central place at the exhibition “Museum of War the Territory of Peace”, opened on the 70th anniversary of the Great VictoryThe Brest Fortress Defense Museum is located ‘in the center of the memorial.
